The Liverpool Merchants' Guild

We are a registered charity that administers a fund built up by Liverpool people, mainly merchants and shipowners, to pay pensions and grants to persons of limited means.

The function of the Liverpool Merchants' Guild is to assess and wherever justifiable to provide assistance to persons who satisfy the conditions of eligibility laid down in the Charter of Incorporation of the Guild.

Benefit

There are two types of benefit available from the fund.
Pensions: regular half yearly payments to supplement income.

Grants: one off payments towards expenditure on equipment or adaptations to support independent living.
